History

Our family first moved to Colwith Farm in the early 1904.  We fed the nation farming during WW2 and began specialising in growing premium quality potatoes in the last 30 years.

We are a fifth generation farm, and very fortunate to have four generations living at Colwith Farm today.

We are real farmers, working the land.  We love supporting our farming friends and farming networks, locally and beyond via our farm shop and in the community.

Colwith Farm Potatoes

We have quite the reputation of growing fantastic quality flavoursome potatoes in the mid Cornwall loamy soils.

We predominantly specialise in premium potato growing, however throughout the year we grow a variation of high quality crops to help aid us in getting a perfect crop rotation to benefit the potatoes.

Our customers include; fish and chip markets, bakeries and producers, crisping supplies, potato merchants and local farm shops.  And of course we supply Colwith Farm Distillery, our own farm shop and our chipping unit for Colwith preprepared potatoes.

We are proud to be a part of the Crop Assured Produce Scheme - Red Tractor.

Feel free to drop us a message to find out your nearest supplier in Cornwall or Devon.
